Only one week left until I'm supposed to fly to Scotland.
We'll drive to Helsinki on Friday with Minna, Kasperi and Kerttu, so they can walk me to the airport. I think kids will be excited about that!
My flight is booked for Saturday 29th of Jan. and the plane should leave Helsinki around 5 pm.
I'll be arriving Aberdeen at around 10pm. Let's just hope that no snow storms are heading UK next week, so I won't be stuck in Heathrow...
I'll stay the first night at my friends place, since my lease starts from 30th of Jan.
I applied a flat/room form University Accommodation and since it was only less than two weeks to my departure and nothing had heard from University about the accommodation, I emailed them on Tuesday. Apparently they had offered me a room in the end of November, but that email hadn't never reached me or then I had accidentally deleted that post? Anyway, they offered me another room in Hillhead Student Village and now I have a place to stay until Minna & kids are coming.
This is the last weekend in Jyväskylä and so I'll try to do everything nice with my family.
On Friday I'll go and check a gig by Die So Fluid in Lutakko. I've seen them once before in the former and legendary metal bar called Bar68.
On Saturday I think we'll take the kids to HopLop and spent a normal finnish evening which includes at least sauna & beer. =)
On Sunday I should go and see a movie with Minna (think it'll be either "Napapiirin sankarit" or "The Tourist") but first we should get a babysit for kids.
Next week I'll try to finish all the stuff that should be taken care of before leaving and spent as much time with my family.
